What Is DTG Printing?
DTG (Direct To Garment) is the latest in modern garment printing technology. DTG is a digital alternative printing method to screen printing which achieves a bright, vibrant, long lasting print.
First of all, each shirt is sprayed with a layer of ‘pretreatment’ solution (where required) which fills the holes within the weave of the fabric and flattens any stray fibres to achieve a smooth printing service. Once the pretreatment is dried the shirt enters the printer, laying down an initial white underbase (unless the base garment is white) and then the final colour layer of ink.
Order Instructions
Ordering your T-Shirts can be done in 3 simple steps:
1. Select your shirt colour, total quantity and print placement, then input the individual quantities of each size required. Please ensure size quantities match the total amount you wish to order.
2. Upload the file you wish to be printed to our server (PNG, PDF, PSD or AI)
3. Add to your basket and complete your purchase. It’s that simple!
Once all information has been received, we will perform a swift inspection of the artwork to ensure the resolution is high enough for a top quality print. Should there be any issues with the quality of the artwork, or any issues matching your order, our team will be in touch before proceeding.

Artwork Requirements
Your initial design file is a critical element which directly affects the outcome of the print. The higher the resolution of the design, the cleaner the result.
When it comes to graphics, there are a few requirements which need to be met before we can approve your design and process your order . This includes:
• File format of either transparent PDF, PNG, PSD or AI.
• Minimum 300DPI resolution
• Document size of at least 30cm
(All designs should also be vectored where possible to sharpen the elements and greatly reduce any pixelation)
Simple vectoring of single colour designs can be provided free of charge, however for more complex designs or images with backgrounds/low resolution it is highly recommended to contact an experienced graphic designer. If you are unsure if your design is ready for printing, please contact our team who would be happy to advise.
